Welcome to
Rising Reliance!

With over 17+ years as a professional marketing designer, I’ve built brands for a wide range of clients—but my heart has found its home in supporting those building lives rooted in sustainability and self-reliance.

As a budding urban homesteader living a more self-sufficient life with my family in Southern Alabama, our journey began with a desire to return to the essentials: growing food, building resilience, and living with greater intention. Along the way, I saw a growing need for purpose-driven design—branding and marketing support tailored to the unique spirit of growers, makers, and home-based entrepreneurs.

That calling sparked Rising Reliance: a studio where design meets resilience, and where small businesses are supported with the tools to grow with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

DESIGNER / BUDDING URBAN HOMESTEADER

Our years working within local markets helped shape our deep respect for small-scale entrepreneurship, community connection, and the power of purpose-driven work.

My husband, Jason, spent over five years managing busy farmers markets throughout Los Angeles County, and I sold my artwork and prints as a vendor. We saw firsthand how vibrant and life-changing these environments can be. Local markets are more than places to buy and sell—they’re dynamic hubs of creativity, connection, and entrepreneurship.

We watched people discover their potential and transform passion projects into thriving businesses. These spaces created deep-rooted relationships between vendors and customers, but also between entire communities, turning the local market into something far greater—a gathering place full of purpose and pride.

We’ve witnessed how a single product made with care can grow into a livelihood. We’ve seen modest booths evolve into successful businesses, families supported through grassroots hustle, and creative energy revitalize neighborhoods. That experience showed us how powerful local commerce can be—and it continues to fuel everything we do.
